Since its inception in May, 1977, Riggins Construction & Management, Inc. has been serving its construction clients throughout Southern California but primarily in Orange County. Though Riggins Construction & Management, Inc. has historically specialized in design-build projects, we also perform new commercial and industrial construction, building renovations, and tenant improvements through the design-bid-build method. We place a strong emphasis on construction management expertise.
Founded by John Riggins, his goal was to provide the best possible service using cost-efficient construction methods within a lean, effective business structure. John was very successful by purposely keeping his company small enough to guarantee his personal touch on every project.
Following John’s retirement in 1999, his son, Tom Riggins, assumed leadership as President and developed a business plan to expand the company while still maintaining the reputation of timely, personal service on every project. In 2000, Tom streamlined office procedures with the installation of Construction Management Information Systems (CMIS). Today, much of its business is conducted by e-mail and fax directly from these in-place, streamlined systems.
Through Riggins’ early involvement in the planning stages of a project and extensive knowledge of cost-efficient construction methods, Riggins Construction & Management, Inc. is able to guide the design and construction to completion in a timely and competitive manner. Riggins’ lean, effective business structure gives them great cost versatility as well as allowing each client the option of participating in the projects to any degree they desire.
